Cooking : Asparagus Portobello Pasta

Ingredients
2 (15 ounce) cans asparagus
1 (2.25 ounce) can sliced black olives
1/2 pound fettuccini pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 large portobello mushrooms, sliced
1 (8 ounce) can peas, drained
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions
Fill a large pot with water and the drained liquids of the asparagus and the olives; bring to a boil. Cook pasta for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente. Drain.
Meanwhile, heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute mushrooms, peas, and Italian seasoning until mushrooms are tender.
In a blender or food processor, puree asparagus, black olives, tomato paste and Parmesan. Transfer to a small saucepan, and heat through over medium-low heat. Spoon asparagus sauce over fettuccini, and top with mushrooms and peas.

Cooking : Beef Tips and Noodles

Ingredients
1 pound sirloin tips, cubed
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (1.25 ounce) package beef with onion soup mix
1 (4.5 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
1 cup water
1 (16 ounce) package wide egg noodles

Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
In a 13x9 inch casserole dish, combine the mushroom and beef onion soups, canned mushrooms and water. Mix thoroughly and add beef tips. Turn to coat well.
Bake in a preheated oven for 1 hour.
While beef tips are baking, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain. Serve beef tips and sauce over noodles.

Cooking : Apple Crisp Cookies

Ingredients
2 cups whole wheat flour, plus
2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup demerara sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
7 tablespoons apple butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons apple juice
2 cups quick cooking oats
1 apple, finely chopped

Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). In a large bowl, mix all of the whole wheat flour together with the cinnamon, baking powder and salt.
In a separate bowl, mash the butter, demerara sugar, and brown sugar together until thoroughly combined, then stir in the apple butter until smooth. Stir in eggs, vanilla extract, and apple juice until well mixed; pour the liquid mixture into the flour mixture about 1/3 cup at a time, stirring after each addition. Mix in the oats and chopped apple.
With 2 teaspoons, form the dough into balls and place onto ungreased baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
Bake in the preheated oven until the cookies are lightly browned and set in the centers, about 10 minutes; allow to cool for about 2 minutes on baking sheets until removing to finish cooling on wire racks.

Cooking : Blarney Stones

Ingredients
1 3/4 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 pounds confectioners' sugar
2/3 cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
6 cups finely chopped peanuts

Directions
In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla until thick and lemon-colored, about 4 minutes. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; add to egg mixture. Beat on low speed just until combined.
Add the milk and butter; mix well. Pour into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into squares. Cover and freeze overnight.
For frosting, in a mixing bowl, combine confectioners' sugar, milk, vanilla and salt; beat until smooth. frosting the top and sides of frozen cake squares; roll in peanuts. Place on wire racks to dry.

Cooking : Budget Berry Jam

Ingredients
4 cups green tomato pulp
4 cups white sugar
2 (3 ounce) packages fruit flavored gelatin mix, any flavor

Directions
In a large saucepan over medium-high heat combine tomato pulp and sugar; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from the heat and stir in the gelatin mix. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal. When jars are cool put them in the freezer.

Cooking : Baked Beef Stew

Ingredients
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup water
3 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca
2 teaspoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 pounds lean beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
4 medium carrots, cut into 1-inch chunks
3 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
2 celery ribs, cut into 3/4-inch chunks
1 medium onion, cut into chunks
1 slice bread, cubed

Directions
In a large bowl, combine the tomatoes, water, tapioca, sugar, salt and pepper. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. or 3-qt. baking dish. Cover and bake at 375 degrees F for 1-3/4 to 2 hours or until meat and vegetables are tender. Serve in bowls.

Cooking : Artichoke Dip II

Ingredients
2 (6.5 ounce) jars marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 (4 ounce) can diced green chile peppers, drained

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, mix together the artichoke hearts, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese and chile peppers. Transfer the mixture to a 9x9 inch baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven 20 to 25 minutes, or until lightly browned.

Cooking : Baked Pineapple

Ingredients
1 (20 ounce) can unsweetened pineapple chunks
3 tablespoons white sugar
6 tablespoons butter, melted
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
5 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese
25 buttery round crackers, crumbled

Directions
Drain pineapple, reserving 3 tablespoons juice.
Combine pineapple, reserved juice, sugar, butter or margarine, flour, and cheese. Mix well. Spoon mixture into a buttered 1 1/2 quart baking dish; top with cracker crumbs.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes, or until bubbly.

Cooking : Artichoke and Sun-Dried Tomato Cheesecakes

Ingredients
1 (9.5 ounce) package Pepperidge Farm� Puff Pastry Shells
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1/3 cup finely chopped artichoke heart
1 tablespoon minced sun-dried tomatoes
1 tablespoon minced parsley
Cracked black pepper to taste

Directions
Bake, cool and remove the 'tops' of the pastry shells according to the package directions. Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees F.
Stir the remaining ingredients in a medium bowl.
Spoon 1 teaspoon of the artichoke mixture into each pastry shell. Place the filled shells onto a baking sheet. Bake for 5 minutes or until the filling is hot.

Cooking : Buttermilk Noodle Bake

Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 large onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
Dash pepper
2 cups buttermilk
1 (4 ounce) can mushroom stems and pieces, undrained
1/3 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
8 ounces egg noodles, cooked and drained

Directions
In a skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. In a large saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Gradually add buttermilk. Stir in mushrooms, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Add noodles and beef mixture; mix well. Transfer to a greased 2-1/2-qt. baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes or until heated through.

Cooking : Aunt Bev's Glorified Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients
salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons butter, divided
2 slices Italian bread
2 teaspoons mayonnaise
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
4 thin slices ham
2 slices Swiss cheese

Directions
In a shallow dish that will be large enough to dip your sandwich in, whisk the egg with some salt and pepper. Set aside.
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Spread the mayonnaise and mustard onto one slice of bread. On the other slice, layer the ham and cheese. Place the slices together to enclose the ingredients.
Carefully and quickly, dip each side in the beaten egg, and place in the hot buttered skillet. Cook until golden brown on the bottom, then melt the remaining butter in the skillet. Flip the sandwich, and cook until browned on the other side.

Cooking : Buffalo Chicken Soup

Ingredients
1/4 cup butter
3 stalks celery, diced
1 small onion, diced
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup half-and-half cream
3 cups water
1 cube chicken bouillon
2 cups cubed cooked chicken
1/4 cup buffalo wing sauce, or more to taste
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste

Directions
Melt the butter in a large pot over medium-high heat; cook the celery and onion in the melted butter until tender, about 5 minutes. Add the flour and allow to cook until absorbed, about 2 minutes more. Slowly stir the half-and-half and water into the mixture. Dissolve the bouillon in the liquid. Stir in the chicken, buffalo wing sauce, and Cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Reduce heat to medium-low. Stirring occasionally, allow the soup to simmer until the the cheese has melted completely, about 10 minutes.

Cooking : Brown-Eyed Susans II

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup margarine
1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons hot water

Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a medium bowl, cream the butter, margarine and confectioners' sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in the vanilla. Add the flour and mix until just blended. Do not overmix.
Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Place cookies 2 inches apart into prepared cookie sheets. Make a slight indentation in the center. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Cookies should be lightly browned. Cool slightly and frost the center of each cookie.
To make the icing, combine the confectioners' sugar, cocoa and vanilla in a small bowl. Stir in the hot water 1 tablespoon at a time until desired consistency is reached. Drizzle the icing from the tip of a knife or spoon onto the center of each cookie. Allow the cookies time to set up before serving.

Cooking : Brown Sugar Pound Cake I

Ingredients
2 cups light brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 1/2 cups butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan. Mix together the flour and baking powder; set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Beat in the flour mixture alternately with the milk, mixing just until incorporated. Sir in the chopped pecans. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 60 to 75 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely.

Cooking : Banana Split Pie

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 (1 ounce) square unsweetened chocolate, grated
1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked

Directions
Cream together butter or margarine and confectioner's sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time; beat for 3 minutes after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
Slice 2 bananas, and sprinkle with lemon juice. Fold grated chocolate and bananas into sugar mixture. Turn filling into cooled pie shell. Garnish with walnuts, banana slices, and whipped cream.

Cooking : Apple-Stuffed Acorn Squash

Ingredients
3 acorn squash, halved and seeded
2 tablespoons stick margarine
1 cup chopped onions
3 cups peeled, seeded, and chopped Granny Smith apples
1/2 cup golden raisins
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions
Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place the squash onto a baking sheet cut side down. Fill the baking sheet with 1/2 inch of water.
Bake the squash in the preheated oven for 40 minutes. Drain off any water remaining in the baking sheet.
While the squash is baking, melt the margarine in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the onion and apple in the margarine until the onion has softened and turned translucent, 10 to 15 minutes. Scrape the mixture into a bowl to cool until the squash has finished baking.
Once the squash is done, stir the raisins, brown sugar, cinnamon, and Cheddar cheese into the apple mixture. Turn the squash cut side up on the baking sheet and fill with the apple mixture. Return the squash to the oven; bake until the filling is hot and the cheese has melted, about 15 minutes.

Cooking : Baked Cheese Sticks

Ingredients
4 cups cornflakes cereal
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 egg whites
2 tablespoons water
1 (8 ounce) package mozzarella cheese

Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease a medium baking pan lined with foil.
In a large, shallow bowl, crush the corn cereal to 1 cup. Mix together the corn cereal, oregano and garlic salt.
Place the flour in a small bowl.
In another small bowl, thoroughly beat the egg whites and water.
Cut the mozzarella cheese into 12 sticks approximately 2 3/4 inches in length. Dip the cheese sticks in the flour, then the egg mixture, then the cereal mixture. Repeat dipping in the egg and cereal mixture to ensure a complete coating. Arrange cheese sticks on the baking pan. Allow the sticks to set for 30 minutes.
Bake in the preheated oven about 8 minutes until cheese is soft and sticks are lightly browned.

Cooking : Black Bean Pasta

Ingredients
8 ounces uncooked spiral pasta
1 cup finely chopped green pepper
1 medium onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 cups tomato sauce
1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
1/2 cup shredded reduced-fat Cheddar cheese

Directions
Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan coated with nonstick cooking spray, combine the green pepper, onion, garlic, oregano, cumin and red pepper flakes. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes or until tender. Add tomato sauce and black beans; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes or until heated through. Stir in pasta. Sprinkle with cheese.

Cooking : Apricots and Dumplins

Ingredients
5 cups fresh apricots, pitted and sliced
3 cups water
3 cups white sugar
6 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
8 (6 inch) flour tortillas

Directions
Combine apricots, water, sugar, lemon juice, salt, and butter and margarine in a large pot. Cook over medium low heat till apricots are thoroughly cooked. You may need to adjust the water or sugar, depending on the tartness and the amount of cooking. The apricots need to be very sweet and very juicy.
Cut the tortillas into 1 inch strips.
Add tortilla strips to the apricots a few at a time. Cook about 20 minutes on very low heat.
This cobbler can also be made in a 3 quart casserole dish, and baked in the oven at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for about 45 minutes.

Cooking : Almond Crescents II

Ingredients
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup butter
2/3 cup ground blanched almonds
1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions
Mix together shortening, butter and almonds. Sift in flour and salt. Add vanilla.
Chill dough until firm.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (170 degrees C).
Roll dough with hands into 3 inch lengths, pencil thick. Form into crescents on ungreased baking sheet. Bake until just slightly brown -- about 16 minutes. Cool on pan
While still slightly warm, carefully dip in a mixture of confectioner's sugar and cinnamon. These are extremely fragile cookies -- handle with care!

Cooking : Bagel and Cheese Dip

Ingredients
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese with chives
1 (5 ounce) container sharp processed cheese food

Directions
In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese and sharp processed cheese food until well blended.

Cooking : Bahamian Chicken Souse

Ingredients
24 chicken wings, separated
3 tablespoons lime juice
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 large onion, diced
1/2 green pepper, diced
6 large potatoes, peeled and diced
3 carrots, diced
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon ground allspice
2 bay leaves
3/4 cup lime juice
3 cups water
salt and black pepper to taste

Directions
Toss the chicken wings with 3 tablespoons lime juice and the seasoned salt. Set aside to marinate at room temperature for 1 hour.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and green pepper; cook and stir until the onion has softened and begun to brown, about 10 minutes. Add the potatoes, carrots, red pepper flakes, allspice, bay leaves, marinated chicken, lime juice, and water. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and continue simmering until the chicken is no longer pink at the bone, and the vegetables are tender, about 40 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper before serving.

Cooking : Barbequed Thai Style Chicken

Ingredients
1 bunch fresh cilantro with roots
3 cloves garlic, peeled
3 small red hot chile peppers, seeded and chopped
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 pinch salt
3 tablespoons fish sauce
1 (3 pound) chicken, cut into pieces
1/4 cup coconut milk

Directions
Cut cilantro roots off at the stem, and mince thoroughly. Set aside a few leaves for garnish. In a blender or food processor, combine cilantro roots and leaves, garlic, chile peppers, turmeric, curry powder, sugar, and salt. Process to a coarse paste. Pour in fish sauce, and blend until smooth.
Place chicken in a large shallow dish. Rub with the cilantro paste. Cover, and marinate in the refrigerator at least 3 hours, or overnight.
Preheat grill for high heat.
Lightly oil the grill grate. Place chicken on the prepared grill, and brush liberally with coconut milk. Grill chicken 8 to 15 minutes on each side, depending on the size of the pieces. Turn only once, and baste occasionally with coconut cream. Cook until browned and tender, and juices run clear.

Cooking : Alabama Slammer II

Ingredients
1 fluid ounce Southern Comfort liqueur
1 fluid ounce amaretto liqueur
1 dash grenadine syrup
4 fluid ounces orange juice

Directions
In a glass of ice, combine Southern Comfort, amaretto and grenadine. Fill with orange juice and stir.

Cooking : Biscuits for Two

Ingredients
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons shortening
3 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons butter, melted, divided

Directions
In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt; cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add milk, tossing with a fork until a ball forms.
Turn onto a lightly floured surface; knead 5-6 times. Roll or pat to 1/2-in. thickness; cut with a 2-1/2-in. biscuit cutter. Place on a greased baking sheet. Brush tops with 1 tablespoon butter. Bake at 450 degrees F for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with remaining butter. Serve warm.

Cooking : Basic Quiche by Shelly

Ingredients
2 cups half-and-half cream
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
4 ounces Jarlsberg cheese, shredded
2 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell

Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and half-and-half. Season with salt, white pepper and nutmeg. Place shredded Jarlsberg and mozzarella in the pie shell. Pour egg mixture over cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), and bake for 25 minutes, or until crust is golden and filling is set. Allow to set 5 to 10 minutes before serving.

Cooking : Beef and Vegetable Stew

Ingredients
1 pound cubed beef stew meat
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 (14.5 ounce) can low fat, low sodium beef broth
1 cup chopped carrots
3 potatoes, cubed
1 sprig fresh rosemary
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
10 ounces button mushrooms, quartered
1 (10 ounce) package frozen green peas, thawed

Directions
Remove any bits of fat from the meat. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium high heat. Saute the meat in the oil for 10 minutes, or until browned on all sides. Remove meat and set aside.
Add the onion and tomato paste to the pot and saute over medium heat for 5 minutes, or until onion is tender, stirring often. Return the meat to the skillet along with the beef broth, combining with the onion and tomato paste mixture. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until meat is tender.
Add the carrots, potatoes, rosemary, thyme, bay leaf and crushed red pepper flakes and simmer, covered, for another 45 minutes. (Note: It may be necessary to add some water if the stew seems too thick.)
Finally, add the mushrooms and the peas and allow stew to heat through, about another 10 to 15 minutes. Remove bay leaf and rosemary sprig before serving.

Cooking : Butter Cornsticks

Ingredients
1/3 cup butter
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup canned cream-style corn
1/4 cup milk

Directions
Place butter in a 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan; heat in a 425 degrees F oven until melted. Tilt to coat bottom of pan; set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in corn and milk. Turn onto a lightly floured surface; knead 10-12 times. Roll into a 10-in. x 8-in. rectangle, about 1/2 in. thick. Cut into 4-in. x 1-in. strips. Place in melted butter and turn to coat. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.

Cooking : Arjun's Lime Chicken Rice

Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon dried basil
salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 (4 ounce) skinless, boneless chicken breast half - cut into bite-size pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 onion, chopped
2 fresh jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
2 tomatoes - peeled, seeded, and coarsely chopped
salt to taste
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 cup uncooked white rice
1 lime, juiced
2 bay leaves
1 cup chicken stock
1 1/2 cups water
3 tablespoons chopped cilantro

Directions
Mix olive oil, garlic, basil, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Toss chicken in marinade, cover and refrigerate overnight.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat; cook chicken and set aside. Heat remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and cook garlic and onion until translucent. Stir in jalapeno, chopped tomatoes, salt, and turmeric; cook for 2 minutes to soften tomato. Stir in the rice, mixing thoroughly. Stir in half of the lime juice, bay leaves, chicken stock, water, and cooked chicken. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, then cover and simmer 25 minutes, stirring occasionally until the rice has cooked. Remove from heat, discard the bay leaves; stir in the remaining lime juice and cilantro.

Cooking : Basil Sugar Snap Peas

Ingredients
1 pound fresh sugar snap peas
2 tablespoons water
1 (2 ounce) jar sliced pimentos, drained
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Directions
In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the peas and water. Cover and cook on high for 3-5 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
